My name is Chris and I am a mentor, coach and breathwork facilitator.  I have been coaching, mentoring and teaching people for 20 years.  I first started by working in secondary schools and pupil referral units with young adults who had additional needs and difficulties in regards to anxiety, communication and integration, and cognition and learning.

 

As my roles have developed over the last ten years I have found myself working more and more with late-teens and adults suffering with physical and emotional issues including anxiety and depression.

The main aim of my work is to help people transition into careers, apprenticeships and higher education.  I started practicing breathwork seven years ago in order to quiet my mind, reduce anxiety, get better sleep, and be more present.  Having experienced the benefits of my practice for numerous years I felt that it was naturally the right thing to do to get certified as a breathwork facilitator.  The reason being... to use it as an additional tool to assist my clients with the difficult transitions that they are going through in life.

​As a conscious connected breathwork facilitator I use breathwork in order to help empower people to make transitions whilst controlling and reducing stress and anxiety!

I’m Alex and my breathwork focus is working with children and young people.  I have worked in primary schools for over 10 years and have experience with children with additional needs, autism spectrum conditions, ADHD and complex medical needs. I am also a Reiki practitioner.  I believe everyone has the power to improve their physical, mental and emotional health and wellbeing; if given the right tools and techniques to do so, which is at the heart of everything that Tender Breathwork strives to achieve.
